THE LANEWAY
For years, Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras comprised of the parade, the all night party and the Laneway recovery held from dawn in Hill Street- the after party’s after-party. Languorous beers on the sidewalk were de rigueur in the narrow Laneway as occassional drag queens mingled with the gay community.
